Hand engraved birds taken straight out of the summer gardens of England. The bird draws inspiration from Picasso and Cubism to create unique detail within the feathers.
The birds are based on Anisha’s illustrations which she hand engraves using traditional engraving tecniques, and then gets cast in solid sterling silver.

Keum-Boo is an Ancient Korean technique of applying 23.5ct yellow gold foil onto silver using heat and pressure. The gold foil brings out the detail in the birds feathers, this illustration is inspired by Piccaso and Cubism.
With Art Deco style pattern on the back.

  • Oxidised sterling silver bird measuring 3.8cm in length
  • Oxidised sterling silver chain can be worn at 40 or 45cm

Anisha Mistry of AneMi Design uses traditional engraving techniques in a contemporary way to make handmade necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Each piece begins as a drawing that is developed and eventually hand engraved onto sterling silver. Some of these include coloured enamelling which emphasises the engraved detail within the silver.
All jewellery is crafted in sterling silver and 22ct yellow gold plating, with many pieces featuring precious and semi precious gemstones.
All work is designed and made by Anisha from her Studio in Cockpit Arts Holborn.
