Monica Milton, 35, from Dunfermline, is a self taught jeweller, who launched her business in 2011.
From 16, Monica had problems with her left leg and suffered lots of pain and, while working in 2010, she fell making her pain increase and her mobility worsen. She was unable to return to work and had to start using crutches and wheelchair to mobilise. Monica was learning to make jewellery and loved it, so used this to help her cope with pain.
Monica, turned to The Prince's Trust and, with our support, was successfully able to achieve her goals through the Enterprise programme. Since then her business has grown and she now supplies 20 shops around the UK.
All designs have been designed and handmade by Monica using Sterling Silver, 9ct Gold and semi-precious gemstones.
