Jayne Tapp is a 23 year old designer and artist based in Liverpool.
She launched Jayne Tapp Design in November 2016 with the support of The Prince's Trust and their Enterprise Programme.
Working from her home studio in Liverpool, Jayne makes laser cut wooden cards, gifts and keepsakes that are all designed to help us celebrate the special people and places in our lives.
When Jayne was 19, she became severely ill with a chronic illness called ME. Jayne had to leave her job and move back home to Liverpool so she could be cared for full-time whilst being housebound.
Jayne's health slowly started to improve over the course of the following 3 years, but her health was still so variable that employment just wasn't an option.
But still being ambitious and determined, Jayne went to The Prince's Trust to help her launch her business and to create "work that works." Running a business and living with a chronic illness is tough, but Jayne has proved that with positivity and determination, anything is possible.
