Inspiring Designs with an allure of Magic! All the Artwork is generally highly pigmented, colourful and culturally vibrant with Sofia's Indian and Pakastani Heritage. The Artwork is designed in making others happy and inspired.

Sofia Barton is the illustrator behind Inspiratori North and has been interested in the imagery of fantasy since early childhood. All the artwork is, at its most fundamental level, about creating a “sense of wonder”.  In the illustrations, her primary concern has been to create a window into the magic elements of the North East.

Stylistically her art is best described as “Imaginative Realism”.  Most closely allied to the scope and feeling of what is referred to as contemporary “Visionary Art”, her gallery art is intentionally imbued with a strong sense of the mystical or dreamlike, and is suffused with symbolic content.  There is a deliberate attempt to invest the image with layers of meaning while having an immediate subjective or visual impression.

The majority of her work falls into one or another series of related paintings, which share common themes and symbols.  In general terms, the Wonderland series deal with Magical Animals and their symbolism in Western Art.  The Victoriana series is concerned with a personal investigation into Victorian England, History of Colonisation and its affects on Modern Society.  The Wolfmother paintings are about the quest for inner revelation and meaning.  Other series of works in progress (e.g., Eastern Promises, Gaia, or End of Nature series) are about various other issues.

Sofia began creating more artwork after family grievances and was able to launch with the Princes Trust in 2017.
